Meia Gisborn SG Blardy hell. It appears the front left tire of my older car has developed a slow air leak. It's losing about a pound of pressure every day. Looks like I'll be making an appointment with the local tire shop to have the leak patched sometime this week. More money down the tubes...
av98m SG not as much as 1000 starhub suscribers are going to be paying this week I was looking around the shops yesterday. It looks like many of the R1 anime DVDs in shops here are brought in by Odex as well, so if you want to do an effective boycott, buy your R1 DVDs online!! And there's actually plenty of parallel import stuff from places like hong kong. Even poh kim presses some anime titles, like Bleach for example.

Meia Gisborn SG Oops! Did the 1000 Starhub subscribers cave in to Odex's extortion demands? Interesting. I didn't know Odex was also an importer of R1 anime titles into Singapore. When's your order from Amazon scheduled to arrive? Are you worried that the DVDs might get impounded by the local authorities for a censorship screening?

av98m SG I think they will be receiving letters starting from this week I didn't realise it also until I saw "distributed by Odex Pte Ltd" stickers on quite a few bandai usa DVDs. (if I were the shops I'd rip out those stickers real quick. Now they're as good as "don't buy me" stickers) It'll arrive in a week or two. As for whether it gets sent to the censorship board, who knows.
